"Red Tide," is an abstract sculptural mosaic using recycled glass, stained glass, coral, stone, sea urchin spines, locally found worm rock and shell, carnelian and citrine on a hand-sculpted substrate. Equal parts a narrative about being female and about the tides and flows within our own bodies, this piece seeks to draw the viewer to look within, to experience the flow, both within and without, themselves.
